Wow! This wedding was one of the weddings of the Century for Grundy, VA~~~ Miss. Dana Thompson married her best friend Michael Hodgson on Saturday.
We did all WHITE AND IVORY flowers and decor for the wedding ceremony and then PINK AND RED for the reception at the APPALACHIAN SCHOOL OF LAW! I will be posting photos this week!!!
Dana and her adorable mother Pam wanted everything to be BEAUTIFUL, heartfelt and memorable. We enhanced the chapel to be something to remember. We started with all white/ivory flowers for the ceremony. We put rounded pomander flower balls with white and ivory roses and carnation and orchids hanging on the aisle pews! Beautiful!! This was one of Dana's most favorite things she wanted for the wedding, and with the narrow aisle we made it happen for her!
At the altar, we put 4 large columns with vases filled with white and ivory flowers that complimented the aisles. And to fill in the "over-flow" area behind the altar we added 75 cylinder vases with candles and floating petals to make this area look like it is included. The photographer and her assistant were blown away by what we had done!! They said "We have never seen any altar with this big of an area to fill look so good" ... I was so so happy to hear this!! That's Campy Style!! We do it right!!
The reception was ALL RED AND PINK, Dana wanted the red and pink flowers and the turquoise linens to set it off. Very bright and colorful! We did 30 LARGE pink and red flower balls, 30 MEDIUM pink and red flower balls, and 30 SMALL pink and red flower balls for all of the reception tables, the head table and the food table. It was so awesome!
I hope to post photos tomorrow!! Love, Beverly
