Farm to Table Dinner on Main 2011
This was our AWESOME 1st Annual Farm to Table Dinner on Main, Saturday, August 27,2011
Main Street America ... Jonesborough, TN. This dinner was put on by us, Main Street Cafe & Catering, and also sponsored by: Action Rental, Depot Street Brewing, Happy Hour Wine & Liquor, Town of Jonesborough, Musicians Lee & Emily Bidgood, and photographers James & Amanda, to benefit our local Farmers Market here in Jonesborough, TN.
It was served on china and glass right down the center of our sweet little town!
Appetizers were passed on the plaza of the International Storytelling Center with donated local beer from Depot Street Brewing (brewed right here in Jonesborough).
First course ~ Heirloom Tomato Salad with Feta & Honey Garlic Vinaigrette.
Second course ~ House-Made Merguez Goat Cheese Grits & Sweet Corn Relish.
Third course ~ Roasted Pepper Gazpacho with Basil Foam
Fourth course ~ Sous Vide NY Strip, Mushroom Risotto, Braised Greens & Red Wine Jus
Firth course ~ Drunken Berries over Sweet Cream
I don't know about all the other 111 people that ate this fabulous meal, but I was a stuffed, happy camper!!!
We love our farmers market ... I will be posting more pictures in a few minutes.
